Galvatek electrode detectors are suitable for conductive liquids, such as:
- aqueous solutions,
- diluted acids
- alkalis.
They are not suitable for non-conductive liquids, such as oils, organic solvents, or demineralized water.
Electrode detectors operate with liquids having a minimum conductivity of 10 µS. For lower conductivities, we recommend using float level switches.
Installation is simple:
- If necessary, trim the stainless steel or titanium electrodes to the desired level heights.
- Mount the detector in the tank.
- Connect the wiring to the control unit (ETS or ENR) or to a PLC.
- Ensure that the electrodes do not touch the tank walls.
